I am compelled to explore identity as a complex and layered performance, where individuals continually adopt new masks to negotiate societal expectations and personal truths. My work seeks to unravel the blurred boundaries between vulnerability and concealment, presence and absence, tradition and modernity. Using a monochromatic palette and a latex-like, surreal finish, I depict faceless, abstracted figures as metaphors for the roles we inhabit and the emotional landscapes we navigate.
